New Internet Banking!

We are proud to announce our new and improved, real-time Internet Banking coming September 15, 2006.  For our customers who currently have Internet Banking with us, here is some necessary information to help transition from the old system to the new system.

Instructions for:

Logging In

Logging into the new Internet Banking is nearly identical to the old way.  These instructions should be used on or after September 15, 2006.
  1. Go to the home page of our Web site where you normally log in.

  2. Enter your user name. Your user name will be the same as it was before, with one exception. If your user name has any spaces in it, please remove those spaces. For instance, if your user name is currently "bob smith", please remove the space between the first and last name and enter "bobsmith".

  3. Enter your new temporary password. For security reasons, your password will need to change. Your new temporary password will be the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number.

  4. Once you have logged in successfully, you will be asked to change your password again so that you can use something more meaningful to you. The new password must adhere to the following guidelines in order to be accepted.

If you have any problems or questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@1st-National-Bank.com or call (630)369-3555.

Guidelines for New Passwords

These guidelines make it more difficult for someone to guess or "hack" your password. Your new password...

  • Must be at least 6 characters but not more than 17 characters
  • Must be a combination of numbers, letters, and special characters. Special characters include $, !, *, &, @, #, ^
  • Must contain at least 3 alpha ("a, b, c,"), 2 numeric, and 1 special character.
  • Is case sensitive. So "gary123@" is NOT the same as "Gary123@"

Examples of proper passwords:
gary123$
&MyGirl22
*MonkeyBoy77*

Examples of improper passwords:
Bob (too short, no numbers, no special characters)
SoxFan2 (at least two numbers required, at least one special character required)
DG1998& (at least three alpha characters required)

We suggest that you select a user password before you first login to the new system. If you forget your password or get locked out after 3 tries, don't worry. Simply call us to unlock your account. Remember, these more complex passwords are being implemented to help protect your account.

Transferring Money Between Your Accounts

Please do not schedule or perform any transfers (on our Web site) from one of your accounts to another on Thursday, September 14th. If you need to transfer money on that day, please call us and one of our bankers will be happy to transfer the money for you.

Bill Pay Customers

If you are currently using our Bill Pay system, please note that this system will be upgraded as well on September 15th, 2006.  Because the old and new systems will overlap for a short period of time, please read the important information below.

IMPORTANT: Please do not schedule any payments to be paid on or after Oct. 1, 2006 using the old system.  Please schedule these payments using the new system which will be available on September 15th.   The old system will be shut off on October 1, 2006.  Please allow 5 business days for your first payments to be made with the new Bill Pay system.

If you have already scheduled payments beyond September 15th, they will be processed by the old system until September 30, 2006. These payments will not display in the new Bill Pay system due to the overlap. If you need to update or cancel any of these payments, please do so before September 15th or contact us via e-mail at info@1st-National-Bank.com.

Vendor Information

Your vendor information (people you pay bills to) will be automatically loaded into the new system for you. However, in order to ensure accuracy, you must double-check all information in your Bill Pay account, including vendor information, addresses, account numbers, etc. You will be able to correct any discrepancies yourself through the interface.

You may add new vendors at any time. The new system allows you to pay anyone. For instance, you will be able to use this system to send money for any occasion to a friend or relative.  They will receive a check through standard mail.

Recurring Bills

For bills you pay on a recurring basis, such as once a month, you will need to re-enter the dates on which you would like to pay these bills. The dates and amounts will not carry over from the old system.
