First National Bank of Naperville Construction Update

The construction of First National Bank of Naperville’s permanent home is well underway. Construction is due for completion late July, 2004. The foundation has been poured, structural steel has been assembled, glass windows were installed and dry wall has been completed. Finishing touches are all that remain. The construction crew is on schedule and the employees are eager to move in.

Janice Borla Vocal Jazz Camp/Concert Series

First National Bank of Naperville recently became the presenting sponsor of the 16th annual Janice Borla Vocal Jazz Camp/Concert Series. The concert series will be held at North Central College in the Larrance Academic Center. The concerts will run from July 23 to 30 at 8:00 p.m. This year’s staff of artists includes: Madeline Eastman, Judy Niemack, and Janice Borla, founder and director of the camp. Naper Days – sponsored by First National Bank of Naperville

During Father’s Day weekend, the bank was the presenting sponsor of Naper Days, celebrating fun, family and community. The festivities ran June 18th, 19th, and 20th at the Naper Settlement. There were 16 Naperville restaurants, 3 beverage tents, a Battle of the Mid-life Crisis Bands and Bed Races. The bank’s booth was located in the Children’s Activity Area. Bank Creates High School Art Scholarship
February 15, 2004

First National Bank of Naperville sponsored a high school sports art contest to welcome the Chicago Blaze women’s professional basketball team to town. The contest was open to all students at Naperville Central, Naperville North, Waubonsie Valley, Neuqua Valley and Indian Prairie high schools and Benet Academy. The winner, Colin Bates, a sophomore from Naperville Central, was presented with a check for $500, payable to the college of his choice, at a Chicago Blaze game on February 15, 2004. Colin’s winning painting was of baseball star, Barry Bonds. Congratulations Colin!
