In Memory of Brian R. Schultz

Brian R. Schultz
1976 - 2005

First National Bank has been around for 30 years, and we just keep getting better every year. In 2003, First National bank moved to Naperville, and we opened our current Naperville facility on Fort Hill Drive in July of 2004. That move joined together two wonderful groups of people. You see, First National Bank views itself as a little community, because we know our neighbors, and our customers are our friends and family.

That has never been more evident than when we lost our fearless leader, dear friend and family member, Brian Schultz, who was at the helm of First National Bank of Naperville. Most of you knew and loved Brian, because the moment he set foot in Naperville, he became a part of this community.

The pain in our hearts is still raw, and we will never replace Brian, but we can and will keep his legacy alive and strong by following the examples he set for us.

Brian was passionate about community and the arts, just like the First National Bank family. He was actively involved with the DuPage Symphony Orchestra, the Riverwalk Fine Art Fair, Naper Days, the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, Naperville United Way, DuPage PADS...the list goes on. Under Brian's leadership, First National Bank of Naperville, contributed approximately $60,000 to community events and efforts last year alone, and we can assure you that our support will continue well into the future.

We are committed to continuing the tradition Brian started. Our first of several Chamber program sponsorships was the Inaugural Ball in January and we were proud to be able to sponsor Naperville's annual State of the City Address by the honorable Mayor George Pradel.

Naperville means so much to the First National Bank family, and we are happy to be a part of the community, now and for many years to come. We will continue our tradition of excellence in the art of banking, and we will never falter in our commitment to our community.

On behalf of the entire First National Bank family, we would like to thank you for so warmly welcoming us into the fold, and we also thank you for your support in our time of terrible loss. We can never replace Brian Schultz, but together we can embrace his spirit and keep his Memory alive.
