Visa Check Card

Now, you don't have to carry a checkbook, cash and ATM card. All you need is your FNBN Visa Check Card. It is the one card that does it all.

Your FNBN Visa Check Card is your key to financial convenience. You can purchase goods and services wherever Visa is accepted, without writing a check. The purchase is automatically deducted from your checking account.

You can use your FNBN Visa Check Card...

• At any merchant displaying the VISA® logo worldwide for purchasing goods and services.
• Accepted and any MAC®, STAR®, CIRRUS®, STARsf®, or VISA/PLUS®, ATM.
• At point of sale (POS) merchant locations displaying the Visa® or STAR® logo.

Just look for the VISA®, STAR®, CIRRUS® or PLUS® logos.

Protecting Yourself And Your Card

For your safety and protections, always follow theses precautions:

• Memorize your Personal Identification Number (PIN)
• Do not give your PIN to anyone
• Never write your PIN on your card
• Do not carry your PIN with your card
• Always take your receipts, whether you use your card at an ATM or a merchant location

If your FNBN Visa Credit Card is ever lost or stolen, call us immediately at (630)369-3555. If the bank is closed call our Emergency Hotline at (800)554-8969. Your card will be deactivated to prevent unauthorized purchases and withdrawals from your account.

Important: You must report your card as lost or stolen within two days from the time you discover the card is missing to minimize your liability for unauthorized use. If you do not call us within two days, you may be held liable for some or all of the unauthorized transactions.

Common Questions

How do I get a Visa Check Card?
Open any checking account with the First National Bank of Naperville and our Personal Banking Representatives will complete an application. Upon approval, your FNBN Visa Check Card will be mailed to you within two (2) weeks.

Can I return merchandise purchased using my Visa Check Card?
Yes, it is the same as returning merchandise purchased with a check, cash or credit card.

Is it easy to change my PIN number?
Yes, just stop by our ATM located in our drive-up to change you PIN.

What if there is an error on my bank statement for a transaction done with my Visa Check Card?
Call our Brookfield office at (708)485-2770. Details regarding statement errors are listed on the back of your statement and also in our Terms and Conditions.

Will I be charged fees when I use my FNBN Visa Check Card?
When you use your FNBN Visa Check Card there is no charge or fees when you use one of our ATMs or an ATM with the STARsf® logo. If you use any other ATM there may be a surcharge fee assessed by the owner of the other machine. Look for machines displaying STARsf® logo for surcharge free transactions or on our website at www.FNBNaperville.com click on ATM Locations for the directory.

Is this a credit card?
Your FNBN Visa Check Card is not a credit card. It works just like a check. Whether you use it to pay for goods purchased, or at an ATM, funds for your transaction will be automatically withdrawn from your checking account within 24 hours.

What if I'm asked "Debit or Credit"?
This may happen in a store with a terminal where you swipe your own card. You have two choices:

1. You can say credit,

• Swipe your card, sign the receipt, and take your copy and go(the store clerk should verify your signature)
• In most cases, you won't be asked to enter a PIN when you choose this option

2. You can say debit,

• Swipe your card, enter your PIN, and take your receipt and go. There is no slip to sign
• You can also receive cash back on transactions at some retailers
